What We Are:

The Rhome Community Library (RCL) is a non-profit corporation operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. A volunteer Board of Directors oversees the daily operations and seeks funding through donations and grants.

The Rhome Community Library, the first library in Wise County, opened in December 1960. As a cherished source of community pride created by 16 ladies, the library exists as a labor of love. Located in the City of Rhome, the library serves the Southwest corner of Wise County, which is a part of the large Northwest ISD.
